ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Sabrielle is a versatile singer and burgeoning songwriter with a diverse musical background and “New York City voice”. Whether it’s pop, gospel, jazz or R&B, Sabrielle’s soulful voice and intuitive storytelling breathes new life into every song she performs.

Born into music, Sabrielle grew up with songwriter parents and a family who would sing together in perfect harmony. So, when she turned to songwriting as a means of processing emotional upheaval and major life changes, they all said the same thing: “it’s about time”! Inspired by artists like Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, and Alicia Keys, Sabrielle layers indie-pop with hints of the gospel, jazz and RnB that she grew up with. Her songs are an honest and emotional exploration of her experiences of love, loss, dating, divorce, and what it means to be a queer, neurodivergent woman navigating life in the modern day.

Sabrielle has performed across the lower mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Fraser Valley, from intimate pubs and coffee shops to festival stages and red curtain theatres. She leads a women’s vocal trio, Dia, and is the principal singer for the acclaimed “Winter Harp”, which tours across BC every December.

Her first single, “Wait I Can’t Bare”, released in January, was hailed as “the most soul-stirring debut you’ll hear this year”. With more singles and an album on the way, Sabrielle is one to watch!
