Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. Diwali in Coquitlam
Join us on October 10 at the Evergreen Cultural Centre to celebrate Diwali! Presented alongside with Diwali Fest, this celebration will feature activities for kids, snacks and drinks, vendors, a henna station, and performances inside the Evergreen theatre.
Diwali is a South Asian religious festival focused on light and triumph of good over evil. Having historical origins dating back thousands of years, this celebration is an important cultural practice for many Hindus and Sikhs in Coquitlam, making it a part of our city’s diverse heritage.
Friday, October 10th – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Free. Registration required to access theatre performances, but no registration required for other activities.
