Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

Headpins and Doug & The Slugs

March 27 @ 8:00 PM

Headpins

Headpins burst onto the Canadian rock scene in the early 1980s. Their debut album Turn It Loud went platinum and delivered classics like “Don’t It Make Ya Feel,” helping define their hard-rock identity. Follow-up releases such as Line of Fire showcased strong musicianship and solidified their reputation as one of Canada’s top touring acts.

Doug & The Slugs

Doug & The Slugs made their mark with clever lyrics, catchy pop-rock melodies, and a playful new-wave-influenced style. Formed in Vancouver in the late 1970s, the band gained national attention with upbeat hits like “Too Bad,” “Making It Work,” and “Tomcat Prowl.” Their quirky stage presence, creative videos, and energetic shows helped them stand out across Canada.
