Artful Pints: Zine-Making
Join us for Artful Pints – a monthly art night hosted by PoMoArts! Each month features a different hands-on art project led by local artists. Whether you’re a seasoned creative or just in it for the fun, you’ll leave with something uniquely yours – and maybe a new favorite beer, too. All materials provided. Just bring yourself and your imagination! Hosted the first Wednesday of every month at The Parkside Brewery.
Become a self-published writer and illustrator in this Zine-Making Workshop! In this workshop, you’ll design and illustrate your own mini zine—from cover to content—and leave with a one-of-a-kind booklet to share or keep! This workshop will be led by local illustrator, Camila Szefler. All supplies are included, however you can bring any add-ons or inspiration you’d like from home. Drinks and snacks available to buy at Parkside Brewery.
About the Instructor
Camila Szefler is Canadian-Polish illustrator, printmaker, mixed media artist with a BFA from ECUAD who is also a current board member of Eart Hand Gleaners Society in Vancouver. She enjoys documenting the everyday, wherever that might be, inher small hand bound sketchbook with a captivation to drawing landscapes, patterns and plants.
