Open Air Performance Series: SweetSour Strips
Hello! We’re SweetSour Strips, a musical duo composed of two best friends, Kaela Lopez and Sharon Hao. Starting from casual jams through our early guitar journeys, we’ve since performed at open mics, events within our community, busking around the city, and more. Previously derived from the same band, we play a variety of different genres ranging from indie to rock, sharing similar “tastes” in music. Our name reflects the contrasts of our relationship, where our differences of preference create balance, whether it be sweet or sour.
