ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

Jack Campbell & Hank Bull: Spontaneous Compositions

August 14 @ 7:30 PM
$26

On Friday, 14 August 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Evergreen Arts Rehearsal Hall in Coquitlam, Bohart presents Spontaneous Compositions, an intimate concert featuring the duo of Jack Campbell on violin and Hank Bull on piano. The program invites listeners into a lively musical exchange between violin and piano, where chamber music, jazz, and spontaneous invention meet.

Spontaneous Compositions offers a rare occasion for Tri-Cities audiences to hear locally raised and internationally acclaimed musician Jack Campbell perform close to his Anmore home. “I was raised here and became fascinated by sound as a child immersed in the natural acoustic and ecological soundscapes of this place,” says Campbell. “To have the opportunity to share my music with my home community is both nourishing and joyful.”

For listeners who enjoy music made in the moment, and for anyone interested in hearing a local artist return to perform for his home community, Spontaneous Compositionspromises an evening of musical invention, and close listening.

The Rehearsal Hall is located at the rear of Evergreen Arts, 1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC. It is easily accessible by Skytrain at the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station on the Millennium/Evergreen Line.
