Art Out Side – Artist Call Deadline
Calling emerging and professional artists to transform Port Moody with arts! We invite artists of all disciplines to propose, projects, pieces, performances and creative installations, that push traditional boundaries.
Join us this summer for Art Out Side, a new multidisciplinary arts festival in Port Moody this summer! Arts will fill the streets, from waterfronts to commercial hubs, alleyways to park benches, and secret locations. This city-wide arts festival brings together bold artistic voices creating unforgettable experiences in unexpected spaces.
Curated by PoMoArts with the support of the City of Port Moody, Art Out Side will leave creative marks across the city each year.
What we’re looking for:
🎨Solo or group-led projects that transform public space
⌛Temporary installations of short or longer duration (e.g., week-long sculptures or multi-day experiences)
⭐Large-scale arts such as a powerful activation to fill a soccer field—think mass movement, participatory art, immersive environments, flashmob or collective performance
🖌️Lead muralists to lead planned projects at pre-approved sites
💃Buskers, visual artists and roaming performers to animate designated festival areas
