Art Out Side: Flamenco Around The Map
Mozaico Flamenco puts on colourful, vibrant, energetic flamenco shows with rare versatility and polish. We will take the audience on a journey to the sunny South of Spain, where Flamenco originated. Our repertoireis extensive and has a range from traditional regional Spanish folk dances to traditional Flamenco Puro gypsy style, to contemporary forms. Our shows feature solo dancers, group numbers and musical songs all accompanied by live Flamenco guitar and singer.
Based out of Vancouver, Mozaico Flamenco is an intergenerational, multicultural and LGBTQ2IA artistic performance group that presents high quality flamenco shows specializing in Flamenco Dance from Andalucia, Spain. Mozaico Flamenco’s reputation in Vancouver for colourful, vibrant, energetic flamenco shows with rare versatility and polish is renowned. During pandemic times, Mozaico Flamenco was dancing around the city doing outdoor popup series, Smallstages.ca “Love Bubble”, the Lumiere Festival, Pacfic National Exhibition (PNE), Taiwanese, Latincouver, Carnaval and Explorasian Cultural Festivals to name a few.
We celebrate 52 years dancing live Spanish and Flamenco shows to enthusiastic audiences in Canada, bringing thousands to the art form. We are happy to present one of our recent shows “Flamenco Around The Map” which takes the audience on a journey through the South of Spain. We are often booked for multicultural, music, dance festivals, school educational programs, senior centres, corporate events, tradeshows, weddings and more.
