ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Brave Voices: Featuring Nate Nate Nainers

Coming up on October 7th we have a FREE event with amazing feature from @nate_nate_nainers
Nate Nate Nainers (they/them) is a poet, storyteller, and performance artist who lives on the unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem First Nation (Port Coquitlam, BC). Psychedelic, absurd, and surreal, Nainers’ work guides its audience on a wild ride into themes on queerness, spirituality, neurodivergence, joy, and redemption.
In 2024, they placed third at the Vancouver Story Slam Championship. In 2025, they wrote and performed a 40 minute solo act for North Vancouver’s Arts in the Garden.
Over the past 10 years, the vast majority of their work is created for and shared on stages across BC – including Massy Art Gallery, Outsiders and Others Gallery, Parade of Lost Souls, Mashed Poetics, Queer Cabaret, Smut Clown Cabaretta, among other events, studios, and gatherings.
Nainers engages their community by organizing festivals, initiatives, and events, past and present, such as: Parade of Lost Souls, Food Not Bombs YVR, Wizard Walks, Whoa Whoa Hey Now Cabaret, Myths and Such Storytelling Show, and the League of Fuddy Duddies with Silly Hats.
