We won’t confine ourselves though we demand freedom to choose\, peace\, free love and flowers. \nABOUT PACIFIC SYMPHONIC WIND ENSEMBLE\nThe Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble is a 45 piece band made up of highly skilled musicians in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver\, BC. PSWE aspires to present the best performances of modern wind band music through our regular four concert season. Formed in 1981 by Maurice Backun\, and currently conducted by Music Director David Branter\, PSWE is based in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia. The Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble boasts many of the area’s finest wind and percussion musicians. The group consists of professional musicians\, dedicated music educators\, and outstanding amateur players.  From its inception\, PSWE has worked with composers\, conductors and soloists to perform new and unusual works\, in addition to classics of the wind ensemble repertoire. PSWE has become internationally known for its musical excellence.

DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to participate in Port Moody’s Celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day on Saturday\, June 21\, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm at the PCT Performance Stage in Rocky Point Park (2800 block Murray Street). Enjoy cultural performances including dancing\, singing\, and drumming as we honour and celebrate the rich history\, resilience\, diversity\, and achievements of First Nations\, Inuit\, and Métis Peoples across Canada. \nThe Celebration of National Indigeous Peoples Day will also include a learn-to-dance session and an activity inspired by the Japanese art of rock wrapping. Led by PoMoArts\, participants will wrap heart strings of intention\, remembrance\, healing\, and hope around a rock as a symbol of the journey of reconciliation. Bannock bites will be available at the conclusion of the celebration at 3pm. All activities are free. \nThis is an outdoor celebration that will go ahead rain or shine\, so please dress for the weather. Dogs must be on a leash; smoking is prohibited in City parks at all times. Parking at Rocky Point Park (pay parking is in effect) will be extremely limited. We encourage you to leave your car at home and walk\, cycle\, or take public transit to the celebration.

He also 2 Juno nominations under his belt. \nNATALIE FAITH | Natalie is a singer\, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a retro influence. She is drawn towards music that feels authentic to her. Every performance embarks on a journey and is one of a kind. She follows the vibe and is not one to play a song the same way twice. Some of her accomplishments include representing BC in the 2020 International Blues Challenge\, graduating Berklee College of Music and winning the “Excellence by a Female Artist” award at the 2022 FVMA’s.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Port Moody is pleased to present Canadian rock band Streetheart as the headline performer on June 30 during the 2025 Golden Spike Days Festival in Rocky Point Park (2800 block Murray Street). \nThe show is part of the City’s Canada Day celebrations but will take place Monday\, June 30 rather than Tuesday\, July 1 to allow festival goers to enjoy an evening performance. Streetheart will take the stage at 8:30pm. Admission to the Golden Spike Days Festival is by donation – tap your debit/credit card or have cash on hand. \nDon’t miss Streetheart’s headline performance on June 30\, part of a great line-up of musical entertainment happening throughout the Golden Spike Days Festival\, June 28 through July 1\, 2025. We recommend you review the festival website before heading to Rocky Point Park to help you plan your visit – find the latest information at goldenspike.ca. \nParking at Rocky Point Park (pay parking is in effect) will be extremely limited.
