DESCRIPTION:March 28 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for an unforgettable night of music\, bowling\, and community spirit\, as local youth bands take the stage to showcase their incredible talent at Poco Bowl! This is a perfect event for youth aged 12-19 to enjoy a safe\, fun environment\, whether they’re with friends\, family\, or flying solo. \nWith 2 hours of bowling\, 2 slices of pizza\, a drink\, and live performances from two awesome local bands (each playing 45-minute sets)\, it’s sure to be a night filled with great vibes and memories! Plus\, prizes\, community sponsors\, and more make this event a must-attend! \nPoco Bowl is a welcoming\, safe space where both youth and families can come together to enjoy an intimate concert atmosphere and unwind. \n\nMeet Deliquescent: \nDeliquescent\n*adjective \nBecoming liquid\, or having a tendency to become liquid. \nDeliquescent is a mix of many genres and styles such as Shoegaze\, Metal\, and indie. Which is why their sound fits their name. They don’t like to stick to one sound\, it can be described as fluid. \nVocalist Lyla Frith\, Guitarist Kayden Morrison\, and the drummer and bassist from Complex 33\, Wyatt Young and Zen Robinson are a combination of musicians with a unique feel and unforgettable live performances. \nBand Members Include:\nLyla -Vocals – Port Moody\nKayden – Guitar\nWyatt – Drums\nZen – Bass Guitar \n\nMeet The Chinoiserie: \nThe Chinoiserie band seeks to create a fusion of traditional folk Chinese music with modern western conventional rock and roll. Ivan has a driving passion for stories and songs that are honest and heartfelt. You probably already know that from his many appearances at Crossroads! He’s got Brian Nicholl on pedal steel guitar with him tonight so there will be lots of listening pleasure!\n\n\n\nAt 8:50 pm — Tom Rawson – from Orcas Island\, Washington (and North Vancouver)\, comes armed with banjo\, guitar\, ukulele\, and other weapons of mass delight. His humorous stories\, user-friendly songs\, and acoustic folk philosophy will have you singing\, clapping\, and laughing along all night. Tune up your vocal chords\, you’ll need them!
