DESCRIPTION:This summer\, local talent will take centre stage as Coquitlam launches Music in the Streets\, a new pilot program bringing live music to enhanced public spaces in City Centre and Burquitlam. \nCall for Musicians\nThe City is seeking solo artists and duos to perform at three outdoor locations between July and September. This initiative is part of the City’s Streetscape Enhancement Program\, aimed at activating public spaces and creating vibrant\, welcoming places for the community to gather and connect. \nHow to Apply\nApplications can be completed online or submitted by mail by Thursday\, May 22 at 11:59 p.m. Please review our Artist Information Package (PDF) before applying. \n\nApplications will be accepted from musicians living in Metro Vancouver.\nApplicants must submit a live performance video link.\nMusicians can apply as a solo artist or duo.\nApplications are open to any emerging or professional musicians\, aged 19 and up.\n\nDownload the application form here (PDF) or submit an appliction online.

SUMMARY:Choral Connections Choir - It Takes Two – Cabaret
DESCRIPTION:Choral Connections Choir is pleased to present IT TAKES TWO\, our biennial cabaret event.  This awesome evening of Singing and Dancing will take place at Heritage Woods Secondary School\, 1300 David Avenue\, Port Moody BC\, on May 24\, 2025.  After a concert featuring Choral Connections Choir and small groups from within the choir\, there will be dancing the to Classic Rock music of Double Image. \nDrinks and appetizers will be available at the intermission and after the concert portion of the Cabaret. Once again\, we will not be serving alcoholic beverages but will instead have a variety of pop\, zero alcohol beer\, wine and mocktails available for purchase.  The show starts at 7:00pm sharp\, doors will be open at 6:30pm. \nWe look forward to seeing you there. \nBuy Tickets
