A funny\, touching and thought-provoking show that takes the audience on a journey of love\, loss and secrets. Will Joanna find a path to forgiveness and stop history from repeating itself? We all have secrets\, all of us\, some are just bigger than others. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n“Audience Choice Award”- Vancouver Fringe 2023\n“4.5 STARS”- Winnipeg Free Press \n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE ARTIST\n\nWriter & Actor: Joanna Rannelli\nJoanna is an award-winning actor\, writer\, and producer\, from Vancouver BC. Her storytelling show Private Parts: The Secrets We Keep toured to Orlando\, Winnipeg\, Calgary & Vancouver Fringe in 2023. The production won the Audience Choice Award at the Vancouver Fringe and earned a nomination for Outstanding Fringe Production from the Calgary Theatre Critics’ Awards. In 2024\, Joanna debuted Bangs\, Bobs & Banter: Confessions of a Hairstylist at the Orlando Fringe\, where it garnered the Critics’ Choice Award and sold out its run at the Edmonton Fringe Festival. The show will be touring in 2025 to Orlando\, Tampa\, Hamilton and Edmonton Fringe. Other select theatre credits include Tramps Like Us (Tacoma Road Productions)\, The Most Massive Woman Wins (Splendiferous Theatre)\, Boy (Dalliance Theatre)\, The Crackwalker (Ashwood Theatre Society)\, and Antigone (Seven Tyrants). \nIn addition to her theatre work\, Joanna is also a film\, TV\, and voice actor. She trained at both Douglas College’s Acting Program and UBC’s BFA Acting Program. Joanna is driven by a passion for creating art that sparks meaningful conversation and fosters community. \n\n\n\nDirector & Dramaturg: Kerry Ipema\nKerry Ipema is an actor\, writer\, director\, podcaster\, and producer in New York City. Previous shows she’s written and performed are Six Chick Flicks (off-Broadway\, Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, US tour\, and UK tour)\, One Woman Sex and the City (off-Broadway\, Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, US tour\, and UK tour) and Sex Ed (Orlando and Winnipeg Fringe). She’s also toured North America with Wheel of Fortune: Live\, Psychology of Serial Killers\, and PostSecret: the Show. In New York\, Kerry is the creator of Lady Bits\, a theatrical fundraiser for Planned Parenthood and has performed with Woodshed Collective\, Drama League\, Purple Crayon Immersive\, The Flea\, Accomplice\, UCB\, and the PIT. She is co-host and produces the podcast Truly\, Darkly\, Creeply.
