Please note that you need to register for these walks by clicking through the link in the City’s post. \nCreated as part of the In the Presence of Ancestors project\, the Shoreline Trail house posts honour the original caretakers of the lands and waters. Tasha Faye Evans will take us on a walk around the Inlet with teachings and reflections on the project\, its five house posts\, and the Indigenous carvers whose creations remind us of our shared responsibility for protecting the Burrard Inlet. \nRegister at https://portmoody.ca/signmeup – use the course ID numbers in brackets to find your preferred session:\nStarting at Rocky Point Park:\nJune 14 at 10am (59276)\nJune 14 at 1pm (59277) \nStarting at Old Orchard Park (646 Bentley Rd):\nJune 28 at 10am (59278)\nJune 28 at 1pm (59280) \nThe walks will proceed rain or shine and will cover some uneven ground and stairs.
