ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The Art Gallery at Evergreen is pleased to presentย Every Surfaceย Is a Shrine,ย which bringsย together aย selectionย of photo-basedย works by Karen Zalamea that tracesย the shifting boundaries between material,ย memoryย and place.ย Rooted in a critical exploration of photographyโs expanded possibilities, Zalameaโs practice reimagines the medium not only as an image-making tool but asย a methodologyย of care,ย labourย and cultural inquiry.
This exhibition is part of the 2026 Capture Photography Festival Selected Exhibitionย Program.
