ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership
Intro to Storytelling Workshop

Step into the world of personal storytelling with award-winning actor, playwright, comedian, and facilitator Deborah Williams! This workshop is inspired by Zee Zee Theatre Company’s Rainbow Youth Storytelling Project, a low-barrier project centering 2SLGBTQ+ voices who often don’t get a say in their lives, bodies, and identities.
Open to 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies (ages 12-19), this FREE creative session invites youth to explore their own stories and find their voice in a relaxed and supportive space. Along the way, discover how storytelling can challenge stereotypes, spark conversations, and build connections.
This workshop is presented in support of True Colours, PoMoArts’ annual Youth Pride Art Exhibition (May 14-Jul 5), and Port Moody Youth Pride Festival. (Friday, June 26, 5pm-7pm).
