Lights at Lafarge: Season Kick-off Event

Produced by the City of Coquitlam, Lights at Lafarge is Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display, featuring a 1.2-km pathway filled with dazzling lights and re-imagined displays. The exhibit runs until Monday, February 16, 2026—stay tuned to our website and social channels for updates throughout the season.
Season Kick-off Event: Friday, November 28, 5 – 8 p.m.
Kick off the season in style at Lights at Lafarge’s Opening Night Celebration! Stroll through the dazzling light displays, grab a bite from local food trucks, enjoy live entertainment, and soak up the festive vibes as the park comes alive with colour and music. It’s the perfect way to start the winter lights season — bright, joyful, and uniquely Coquitlam.
Event Schedule
- 5 p.m. – The Dimes
- 5:50 p.m. – Holiday Carols from Coastal Sound Children’s Choir
- 6:40 p.m. – Dani Black
- 7:20 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies
- 7:30 – 8 p.m. – Fire and Light Performance
Food Trucks
Come early or stay late to grab a bite to eat from the on-site food vendors serving from 5 to 9 p.m. Foodies can enjoy a variety of delicious options, with service on both sides of the lake. Enjoy warm beverages, comfort food and plant-based options.
