ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

OLD SONGS, NEW SONGS
The Bergmann Piano Duo with Special Guest Ryan Davis

ABOUT THE SHOW
The Bergmann Duo welcomes violist, composer, improviser and Professor at UBC, Ryan Davis to be their musical collaborator. Together they will be exploring the many facets and timeless beauty of the classical and romantic art song, exemplified by such pieces as Schubert’s Litany for the Feast of All Souls or Fauré’s ever-popular Après un rêve– paired with some iconic songs from the popular music realm.
Ryan will also showcase his stunning, creative use of electronic equipment that expands the possibilities of his instrument to surprising new sound-worlds.
