pARTy@PdA: Prints and Pints
Admission: $30/person or 2 for $50
pARTy@PdA: Prints and Pints (Just for Adults 19+)
Gather friends and engage your imagination in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Supplies and instructions are included at all pARTy events, as well as a cash bar offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Get your hands dirty and learn the basics of lino-cut printmaking! Whether you pick from a selection of designs or bring your own idea to life, you’ll be introduced to all the essentials by Molly Gray—from sketching and transferring your image to exploring carving techniques and printing your artwork.
Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or non alcoholic option (available for purchase on-site) and with a step-by-step demonstration, you’ll be guided through the process and leave with your very own print collection: a small edition on paper and two unique greeting cards.
*Due to block-printing using sharp and pointy tools, participants of this workshop release the artist and Place des Arts of any injury that may occur during the workshop. It is recommended to wear a smock, or old clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on as printing can be messy.
