PoMo Players Table Reading of the Radio Play “A Christmas Carol”

May 13, 2025 @ 6:30 PM10:00 PM
Free

PoMo Players has planned a free private table reading of the radio play “A Christmas Carol”. It will take place at the CityState Boardroom on Tuesday, May 13th from 6:30pm – 10pm.

No experience is necessary, just a passion for theatre and a willingness to have fun!

A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play
From the novella by Charles Dickens, adapted for the stage by Joe Landry

The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. A handful of actors bring dozens of characters to the stage, as the familiar story unfolds: Three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a thrilling journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying “Bah Humbug!”

There are over 30 roles in this production so we will switch out actors to allow for multiple readers per role and multiple roles per reader.

Please email PoMo Players if you are interested in being involved!
