Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. Port Coquitlam Arts Festival: Call for Poets, Artists & Vendors: Deadline
CALLING ALL POETS, ARTISTS, & VENDORS…
We have three open calls ready and waiting for applicants! We are searching for vendors and competitors for our Arts Festival, and we would love to hear from you. If you are looking for a way to share your artistic talent with the community, and are available to attend the festival on Sunday, August 23rd, please click on the opportunity that interests you, read through the details, and apply.

PAINTING BATTLE applicants were born to create, and they are able to do so in a tight time frame while maintaining their eye for design and ability to paint visually and emotionally impactful art. Artists will respond to the winning work from the Poetry Battle and will let their colours fly free as festival attendees enjoy watching their creative process from start to finish.
POETRY BATTLE applicants have a passion for writing and the ability to create on-the-spot poems based on thematic prompts. These literary artists must be comfortable reading their work to an audience, and they see the idea of their work serving as inspiration for others as a way to enhance their artistic process.
OPEN MARKET VENDOR applicants are masters of their medium. These artisans embody quality and craftsmanship and feel excited by the prospect of sharing and showcasing their particular art form. Interested vendors design and handcraft items with care, and they appreciate the chance to create positive interactions with potential customers.
