The Smile of Spring
The Smile of Spring, a classical music concert, offers once again a community-oriented program designed to put a smile on your face, a song in your heart, and a spring in your step. Join us on May 9 to celebrate spring in Port Moody! This year’s The Smile of Spring promises to let you enter the fantasy land of classical music. Join the co-artistic directors, pianists Anna Levy and Jane Hayes with special guests—pianist Shirley Hwang, violinist Domagoj Ivanovic, and pianist Noel McRobbie in a program that includes Schubert’s immortal Fantasy in F minor, Debussy’s L’isle Joyeuse and music of Spain by F. Kreisler, M. de Falla and others.
Our special thanks to Pleasantside Community Association for securing the concert hall and Showcase Pianos for bringing one of their beautiful grand pianos for this event!
