ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Tri-City Wordsmiths’ Workshop: Resilient Writers: Dealing with Rejection, Negativity, and (Inner) Critics by Christina Myers

February 7 @ 1:30 PM4:00 PM
Free

Tri-City Wordsmiths’ first workshop of 2026 is this weekend. Resilient Writers: Dealing with Rejection, Negativity, and (Inner) Critics by Christina Myers Sat., Feb. 7th, 2026 1:30 – 4PM.

Even the most successful writers face rejection, bad reviews, and harsh critics – including the loudest critic of all: our own internal voice. This workshop first helps participants to identify the various ways that negativity can prove challenging in our writing efforts and then looks at a variety of tools to help manage and balance that. Through examples, discussion and a few practical workshops, the session is aimed at helping writers to feel confident and to remember that the “hard stuff” is a universal experience.
