Shy in public\, her mother put her in a local music theatre group. There was no going back. She graduated from MacEwan Univeristy’s Theatre Arts program in 2018 and Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program in 2022. \nThough she loves musical theatre\, her passion for music has always driven her through life. On top of singing and tap-dancing\, she plays six instruments: the piano\, guitar\, ukulele\, clarinet\, trumpet and violin. \nBeing raised on musicals and country music\, she appreciates the storytelling aspect of songwriting. Inspired by artists such as Carole King\, Sara Bareilles\, The Band Perry\, and Taylor Swift\, she started writing songs at 14 years old. In recent years\, she has been considering writing music for the stage. While attending Capilano University\, she was lucky enough to compose the songs for their production of The Penelopiad. Though she is dabbling in writing for musicals\, she strives for her songs to be honest\, thought-provoking but hopeful. \nShe hopes to put out an EP in a few years and share her music with more people.
