SUMMARY:Art Focus: March Art Demo with Tammy Pilon
DESCRIPTION:*** All Demos are free and open to the public *** \nWatercolour was Tammy’s first artistic passion\, though she is equally at home working with oils and acrylics. Known for her evocative use of light\, her work reflects the keen eye for design and composition she developed during her early career as a graphic designer. An exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists\, she draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Port Coquitlam and local areas including the coastal vistas of Port Moody’s inlet where she enjoys sailing. After years of instructing in various art schools\, she now operates Poco Art Studio\, where she offers intimate semi-private and private lessons designed to help students master oil\, acrylic\, and watercolour. \nLoose landscape watercolour painting: Tammy will demonstrate the secrets to capturing loose\, impressionistic landscapes through the art of free-flowing brushwork. She will showcase her unique Sumi brush methods for creating clouds\, trees and water while sharing tips on how to paint with spontaneity. Discover how shifting your focus to the “now” can unlock a universal energy that breathes life into every piece of art. \nMore information and Tammy’s social links\, can be found at: \nwww.tammypilon.com      www.pocoartstudio.com

SUMMARY:Tina Leon
DESCRIPTION:TINA LEON \n\nTina Leon is a singer and songwriter from Montreal who draws her inspiration from the Motown Generation and the soul music of the last decades. Having already sung and collaborated with Stevie Wonder\, DJ Champion\, Daniel Bélanger and Les Louanges under the artist name of Marie-Christine Depestre\, she now appears in a new light\, more authentic and full of life than ever. In reference to the nickname given to her by her family and in homage to her maternal grandmother\, this choice of a new stage name is a way for her to fully express her personality\, to assert her art and thus to find a form of balance.\n\nDescribing it as a rainbow of soul\, her debut album “Push & Pull” which came out on May 16\, 2025\, is a colourful journey through jazzy\, funk\, and pop rhythms with rich and enchanting melodies.\n\nThe deep feeling that Leon pours into her music\, accompanied by the bright\, complex variety of sound\, makes this album burst open with a colorful array of emotion.\n\n\nSINGLE TICKETS ON SALE JULY 01!\nAdults: $43 | Seniors: $39 | Students: $16 \nBOX OFFICE: 604.927.6555 | Open Monday – Saturday\, 12 – 5PM
