SUMMARY:Paint & Play: Tiles & Coasters
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to unleash your creativity in this fun\, hands-on ceramics workshop! \nYou’ll transform plain ceramic tiles into one-of-a-kind artworks using underglazes\, brush techniques\, and playful designs. Choose to create decorative tiles\, a mini wall art set\, or functional coasters—perfect for gifts or brightening up your own space. You can choose between 4tiles of 4.25″ x 4.25″ or 2 tiles of 6″ x 6″. Instructors will guide you step by step\, showing you how to experiment with colors\, patterns\, and textures while adding your personal touches. \nWhether you make a set of small tiles\, larger statement pieces\, or a ribbon-wrapped coaster set\, you’ll leave with unique\, functional ceramics that are as beautiful as they are personal. Bring your imagination and have fun turning clay into art! Due to the kiln-firing process\, finished mugs will be ready for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop. \nAbout the Instructor \nDasha Berezhnova is a multimedia artist who picked up ceramics in 2020\, and never looked back. She loves to bring whimsy to wheel-thrown and hand-build forms by incorporating sculptural elements\, cheeky details\, and bright colours. She approaches art-making in a lighthearted and experimental way\, and enjoys helping students find their unique artistic voice\, develop their confidence\, and have fun!
