ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Book Launch: Reading & Mini Author Talks

The Port Coquitlam Writers Group is inviting the community to celebrate the release of their new chapbook, to gather, at a launch party to be held at Western Sky Books on Thursday, June 19th from 7 to 9pm. Six local authors’ thought-provoking poetry and prose are showcased in this inaugeral anthology. The collaboration seeks to bridge the separations so often felt in our world and is a gentle reminder that healing often arises from the simple act of gathering. The book launch will feature readings and mini author talks from each of the contributors, and copies will be available for purchase for $15.
Sincere thanks to the Poco Arts Council, the Port Coquitlam Community Foundation, and the City of Port Coquitlam for making this collection a reality. The Port Coquitlam Writers Group holds drop-in meetings at The Gathering Place, open to anyone interested in learning, shaping, or sharing their skills in the literary arts, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
