ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]

This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Fabric of Healing at Noons Creek Hatchery

September 30, 2025 @ 10:00 AM
Free

On September 30, Noons Creek Hatchery is hosting their annual gathering for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a guest speaker Manuel Axel Strain, 2-Spirit artist from Musqueam, Simpcw and Syilx peoples.

PoMoArts will be leading a community art project called Fabric of Healing. Youโ€™ll get to weave together ribbons and yarn on looms as part of our collaborative healing process in our community, creating a unified network of support and action. Natural materials such as twigs, bark, and dried plants will be added to the weaving, pieces of the ground we are on, further carrying our intentions, reflecting on our roles, relationships, and learning as a community.

* A reminder that PoMoArts facility will be closed on September 30 in respect for Truth and Reconciliation Day. We invite you to gather in community at Noons Creek and The Old Mill Boathouse as part of our shared journey of healing and reconciliation.
