ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Ace Poetry Night

In acknowledgement of Ace Week, we’ll be hosting a poetry and writing event for or those who identify as, or are questioning whether they may be, part of the asexual community. (This includes those who identify as asexual, demisexual, greysexual, aceflux, aroace, questioning โ and many others too!)
This event is part of a small festival – @artforaceweek – produced by local poet, Kelsi James. Together with Kelsi’s co-faciliator, Sarv Star, attendees will be guided through writing prompts before getting the opportunity to share their work with the rest of the participants.
Asexuality (often referred to as the identity “ace”) refers to individuals who do not feel sexual attraction. Ace people are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and also, part of the larger Coquitlam community, making opportunities like this an important way of creating shared culture in our diverse city.
Friday, October 24th – 7 PM – 9 PM
Free. Registration required.
1116 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam
