ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse: Willoughby Ridge | Andrew Gordon and Laura Doyle (& The Group)

Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse
Friday, Oct. 24
At 7:30pm — Willoughby Ridge — A local 4 piece acoustic string band playing an eclectic mix of traditional and modern music drawing on bluegrass, country, folk and roots influences as well as the works of contemporary singer-songwriters. Original songs from band members are often included as well. The lyrics are typically narratives of daily human experience—the hardships, joys, sorrows, memories and hopes that we all share. The band’s performances feature multi-part vocal harmonies and intricate instrumental arrangements with each band member contributing to lead and harmony vocals.
At 8:50 pm —Andrew Gordon and Laura Doyle (& The Group)
You know how The Band had trouble coming up with a name? Same with these guys, who I will call The Group.
Andrew Gordon is a storyteller with one foot in film and the other in music. Having built a career in movie lighting, he brings that same sense of atmosphere and imagery to his songwriting. His music weaves Americana, folk, and rock into songs that feel vivid, emotional, and cinematic. Whether on stage with a guitar or shaping light on a film set, Andrew creates moments that linger long after they’ve passed.
Laura Doyle is a Canadian singer/songwriter known for her soulful voice, evocative lyrics, and emotionally rich songwriting. Blending elements of folk, pop, and acoustic storytelling, her music captures moments of vulnerability, strength, and deep reflection. Laura’s songs have been featured in film and television, resonating with audiences worldwide through their honesty and heart. Whether performing on stage or crafting songs behind the scenes, Laura continues to connect with listeners through the raw truth of her artistry.
Filling out The Group tonight are Brian Nicholl on pedal steel guitar and Alana Louise on vocals.
