ArtsConnect’s ArtsCalendar is a work in progress. Presently, we are working with a small group of arts organizations from across the Tri-Cities to develop the ArtsCalendar before we open up submissions from all arts organizations and we are not accepting direct submissions at this time. If your organization is interested in joining the ArtsCalendar in the future, please email your name, address, and a brief description of your organization to: [email protected]
This resource has been made possible through the financial support of ArtsConnect’s members. If you would like to support the further development, please consider becoming a member here: Membership

Burning Mom

BURNING MOM
An Arts Club Theatre Company Production
By Mieko Ouchi
In this inspiring comedy, Dorothy realizes that life is too short to delay your aspirations. After losing her husband, she decides to take their RV on the road trip of his retirement dreams: sheโs going to Burning Man. After all, itโs only a 21-hour drive to a weeklong culture festival and party with no plumbing in the middle of a desertโhow hard can it be?
Burning Momย is a stirring odyssey of self-discovery and tale of how art, everlasting roads, and human connection propel her along the way. Youโll laugh and cry as Dorothyโs story, based on the playwrightโs motherโs life, invites you to take risks and enjoy the small moments in lifeโcome along for the ride!
