Edges in Painting – Principle or Technique?
Many artists overlook edges by only focusing on colour and composition. In trying to be faithful to what you see and rendering reality edge handling, is a fundamental skill of both drawing and painting.
A variety of edges will give a sense of depth to a painting and volume to objects
