Opening Reception: Odyssey of the Rooted Self | Post Anthropocene | Home and Away (Надалеч и вкъщи)
Featuring works by Ceramic Artist in Residence, Azadeh Mehryar, and the 2025 Kwi Am Choi Scholarship recipients, Kacey Hughes and Iva Staykova, each exhibition presents layered reflections on existence and belonging, either in place, culture, or epoch.
Working across ceramics, painting, and site-specific installation, each artist examines the shifting terrains of identity and environment. From fractured urban spaces and intimate reconstructions of the self to reflections on humanity’s footprint, the exhibitions invite us to consider how we shape the world and are shaped by it, amid perpetual transformation.
